Dorin began her professional hairstyling career in New York City, where she built a loyal following over 15 years at her two locations in Brooklyn and SoHo. In 2004, she relocated to Northampton with her family and has been proudly serving the local community ever since.
Early in her career, Dorin realized that traditional salon environments and products were not aligned with her sensitivity, values, or vision of true beauty. Many products felt overly toxic, and the fast‑paced salon culture no longer reflected the way she wanted to live or work. This realization became the catalyst for creating something different.

Dorin founded Bohemian Organic Salon as a calm, intentional space where hair care meets wellness. The salon emphasizes cleaner, non‑toxic, and nourishing products, offering guests a healthier alternative without compromising results or style.
She specializes in hair coloring and styling and has been a Certified Organic Colorist since 2007. Dorin is deeply committed to ongoing education and continually advances her skills by learning from leading educators in the industry, ensuring her clients receive modern techniques and timeless results.
Beyond hair, Dorin’s work is shaped by a lifelong interest in wellness and harmony. She is a graduate of The American Feng Shui Institute as an Advanced Feng Shui Practitioner, integrating the ancient art of creating balance between people and their environments. She also spent three years studying Traditional Tibetan Medicine at the Shang Shung Institute in Conway, MA, and in 2011 became a Certified Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor through the Kerala Ayurveda Academy.
